Dogs, most likely, aren't going to turn your kydex sheath in to a $30.00 piece of rawhide.

Came home from running a few errands and thought it odd that our one dog, the one who barks at anything that moves, was surprisingly quiet. I set some groceries down and noticed him in the back chewing on what I thought was a bone we'd given him a few days before. I went in to my office and heard the girl say "you're going to be so mad."

I keep most of my smaller knives in these plastic containers. Because of my new scores from Blade, I had the containers down and on the floor. Well my dog Stew, who has never destroyed anything of mine...obviously got into my box o blades.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />


It wasn't a bone he was chewing outside....







He some how managed to get my Mudpuppy out of the sheath without cutting himself and decided the sheath was his new chew toy.

I then noticed my Muk and SS4, which both have kydex pants, had been taken out of the box and were laying on his dogbed...no damage to them what so ever.



Just thank god he didn't get a hold of my piggyback set up from Dwayne Puckett that cost over a 100 bucks and took 6 months to get.


The culprit...

i lost 2 wallets to my dogs...... well im glad hes unhurt.... and well atleast ya got a reason to order a new sheath!

I have been worrying about the same thing.... I was thinking my Chuddy Bear NMFBM sheath would feel nice in my Rotties mouth!!!lol

yeah...ultimately it's my fault and I can't stay mad at the guy...he's too cute. Lesson learned...its just odd. He'll grab my slipper or shoe and walk around with it, but he's never, ever, even put a tooth mark in them before.

i was worried about my dogs trying to use the mudder handles as there new chew toys.... but so far there training is holding up.... they normaly dont take stuff any more unless its given to them....
