Sorry for getting a little off track here guys, but is the Buck 119 special full tang? No. But they have been used by hunters and outdoorsmen for many years.

A friend of mine has one and I really like how it feels in the hand. The only reason I have not went after one is because of the Regulator.

Thanks for all of your opinions and the pics. I think I'm going to go HG55 hunting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I have one. Personally, I think it is way overpriced. Now that I have it, I'll keep it, but I can think of a lot better values out there. I still prefer the Ratmandu.

I much prefer the convex grind on the LE to the weird grooved one on the CG. If a convex CG had been available, I would have bought it. But, like with all satin-finished Busses, I had to pay the premium price to get the knife I wanted. I imagine that my new Scrapper 5 LE will see a lot more use.

I won't be so bold as to claim I will NEVER buy one - after all, I once claimed I would never buy a Busse because they were too expensive (<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />)...
BUT, the corrugated blades do nothing for me either, and I'm not sure I buy the "less resistance" claim without some careful controlled testing. There are too many variables at work for this physicist to just accept the claim without rigorous experimentation. I also hate the way they look, so it's unlikely I'll get anything corrugated, unless there's some other design element that absolutely convinces me.
