Hello all...Im new to the forum, and the Scrap yard Knife world. It was recommended to me by a friend that knew I was looking for an outstanding knife. I got on the list for the S5LE and am looking forward to recieving it. My question is after looking thru the site, I saw the Scrapper 4 in INFI and thought it would be a perfect gift for my youngest son to start with. How do I find one? Also, what other models of Scrap yard knives come with the "mudder" handles?
Take care.

Welcome to the Yard.
Scrapyard hasn't made the Scrapper 4 for a while now, so if you really want one you'll need to keep an eye on the secondary market (bladeforums exchange, ebay, etc.). Once in a long while I see one pop up for sale. But not very often.

Welcome to the Yard. You made a good choice with the S5LE. The Scrapper4 doesn't come up for sale often, there was a "user" on the exchange that just sold. Lets see if I can list all the Mudders: SS4 ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/SS4.jpg) Bird Dog ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/BD.jpg) Mud Puppy ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/MP.jpg) Muk ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/muk.jpg) S5 ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/S5.jpg) S5LE ![[Linked Image from s873.photobucket.com]](http://s873.photobucket.com/albums/ab293/ralphrotull/S5LE.jpg) Let me know if I missed one.

Welcome to the board. Good luck finding a SS4, they don't show up very often. They usually sell fast when they do.

You might want to wait until you get your S5LE and see if he likes that in hand. Both are excellent knives, no doubt, but SS4's seem to go for any where between $225 to $250 on the exchange....WHEN they come up. When the S5LE's start to ship you can be sure that you'll start to see them pop up on the exchange with in a week. You'll probably be able to pick one up for what it would cost you to get an SS4, if not a little cheaper. 5 inches of satin Infi for 190 bucks is a steal and even marked up to $225.00 to 250.00, is still a mighty good deal imo. I really like my SS4, but this S5 is turning out be my go to knife anytime I feel the need to put one on my hip. Here's the two side by side if you'd like a comparison. ![[Linked Image from i732.photobucket.com]](http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/sodigthisbigcrux/ss4vsS5.jpg)

Welcome to the Yard.
As far as I know, the only INFI knives the Yard ever made were the SS4 and the S5LE.
