I heard that story on the radio news this morning. Made me think of my convexed Waki. I sure hope the idiots there don't press charges. Personally, I wish he had cut off the thief's head and put it on a stick in his front yard as a deterrent to other thieves.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I almost wish the guy would have lived. Then he could have walked around with his nubbin for a hand and be a reminder to people why you shouldn't be breaking in to other peoples homes.

I thought the head was going too, but only a hand. I guess the burgler wasn't good with tourniquets. It didn't take long for him to be released and stealing again.

I may have to get a Waki now.

Hmm I think some cultures do this.

It may be better for the victim (house owner) that the thief died.
Usually when someone gets a debilitating injury, regardless of what they were doing, they use all legal options possible. Usually the homeowner ends up going to jail (legally they should have called the police and waited in a safe plaice).

burglar might have gotten hurt, but we'll see if student goes to jail. if the student does, something is seriously wrong with our society.

It's Maryland and judging by their ridiculous gun laws , the student may very well be in hot water. The Brady Bunch rate Maryland as having the 5th best gun laws in place. So to most of us, that probably means the 5th worse

AMEN but depending on what state it happened in will be the deciding factor. We already know our justice system is screwed up when a professional athelete can get out of doing prison time for vehicular drunken manslaughter

i figure that when it comes to home defense my waki is an option after my 12 guage, AR, AK, .45, .40, 10mm, .38, 30-06, or any of my .22's. It would be a REALLY bad idea to break into my house. Thank god i live in one of the free states.
