There is some love for this knife at Blades forums Busse section!

I'm...surprised! Seems to me a less friendly site for Dogs and Rats most of the time...

I have my CG and didn't buy an LE- so I know it's a great blade- but still...the Hogs like it! wowza...

I do find it kind of funny that the hogs are praising this one up and down, and basically completely ignored the CG version, since it wasn't made from INFI.

In a knife this size, there isn't nearly as much of an advantage to using INFI compared to SR-101, except maybe the stain resistance. Those HOGS have a one track mind, though, and only INFI is good enough for them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I still think the CG S5 is a top notch knife <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

#177 came in last week. It's my first Scrap Yard and utterly beautiful!
Any opinions on sheaths? I've found custom leather ones for the Scrapper 5 by Savage Made Sheaths, as well as a kydex one from Mashed Cat Outfitters. What have yall done for sheaths?

I don't have one yet for my LE but will probably get Rainwalker to get one for me when I can save up some money. He does a great job.

I have the savage made S5 sheath and like it a whole lot. Good sheath at a great price.

I love Savage leather. I have a SOD LE, SOD, and a MUK sheath by him. I am thinking that I will get a DDF and a S5LE from him too.
