Well I have my sheath, now all I need is a knife to put in it.

I see we are on the third batch. Does anyone have any idea how many batches there are or how long until they get to the later knives? I think I saw someone post that they got a knife # near 300. Somehow I got the idea that around 300 was a "normal" number of knives made on such an order.

I am trying to figure out if all the knives are made and they are just getting them shipped out or if they actually make the knives in batches....Does it typically take days, weeks, months..... to get all of an order shipped out?

Just interested in understanding more about how the knives get made and shipped. I'm not impatient to get my knife or anything like that. I just like to be well educated.

Searching for my time slice,

Mitch

Mick, It sounds like you and I are in the same boat with the same questions. I also have an empty sheath sitting here beside me! I've wondered about the total number produced as well. I noticed in another thread that someone has a number over 500. I however will be proud to admit that I am impatient...in a good way!

most people seem to get theirs in 2 weeks (once they start), others who are used to longer waits get theirs later (other countries and customs and stuff).

in the past (older business plan) many times we never got shipping notice until "after" we got the knife! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

hopefully that's changed now, it has been for me.

and nothing wrong with being inpatient for great blades!

I'm glad you understand this is not some petty, childish impatience but an opportunity to learn more about our hosts ;-}

Thanks,

Mick

OMG I'm a "Lap Dog"!

If the herding dogs around here find out, order will cease to exist and chaos will prevail!

That and an empty knife sheath, it's just too much!
