Without doubt all the knives Scrapyard has put out thus far are fun..fun..fun and very practical for their purposes (love my Scrapper6). But Dan, I would like to know if you have any every day carry knife models planned for the future. Maybe like a 2 1/2 to 3 in. blade max.

Don't get me wrong, I love whats been put out so far and performance is second to none, but I'd like that same performance in a good fixed EDC. For some reason I don't think carrying my Scrapper 6 to Wal-Mart is gonna look good for everyday people, not to mention LE. If you can't say anything that's fine, I totally understand, but a simple yay or nay would suffice if at all possible.

-Ron

I apologize if this topic has already been covered.

We've talked about it - I'm sure something will be on the way. A lot of us would like to see a 3" EDC.

I’d love some smaller knives. Like a Shaker or Skelly Warden size/style maybe.

TBB welcome to the knife forum, already said welcome on the survival forum!

I'd love to see a(nother) yard edc too, like Andy said a 'shaker' is the way to go.. D2 please Dan, not sr77.. Love big sr77 knives but little 'uns need corrosion resistance more than uber toughness imho. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

That's why you can buy the 5" bladed Dumpster Mutt tonight! Problem solved.

And welcome to the forums.

Until Dan and Patti release their smaller knives, maybe you could consider the Junkyard Dog II by Kershaw? It has a beefy and (more importantly) reliable liner lock (thicker and stronger than comparable sized titanium framelocks), an integral guard, and a drop point of Sandvik 13C26 razor blade steel. 13C26 can't hold a candle to S7 and SR-77, but it is big step up from the S30V blade steel that's polluting the knife world and the JYD II has a Scrapyard-style price tag.

Thom I thought s30v was supposed to be pretty good? Why the 'anti' feeling? (I know you are the man for metalurgy!) I'd value your input..
