There seems to be a bit of a trend with sheaths lately where the Kydex is only used as a liner and another material, either decorative or functional, is acting as a removable covering.
I guess I've just been noticing a surge in making things more modular and interchangable. It seems to be following the whole assault rifle thing where you buy your standard lower and order multiple uppers to mount on it in various calibers and lengths with pre-mounted optics for each.
Anyway, I find myself coming back to this thread repeatedly just to gaze upon a job well done. That Waki is really sporting some grand pants.
