Yeah I'm not a fan of the bevels either, and I do NOT buy the argument for why they supposedly improve performance, without seeing some hard data to support it.
I think the mud razor didn't have the bevels, but I'm not sure.

I don't recall seeing one without the CBTs. I think they are OK just because its something different from the norm. But I don't like them on the Battle Mistress or on just about any other knife for that matter.

I would have preferred my Hell Razor and JackHammer to not have the CBT, but they are still awesome knives!

The Tank Buster would be fine for mounted armor troops. They don't normally hump it 14 miles. Why die tired? If I was leg grunt infantry or having to walk with them, I'd go with the Scrapper 5. What happened to all those APCs the Army had anyway? Even the grunts rode in Mech Infantry. As we used to say in the 1st Armored Division, "If you can't truck it, **** it!"
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

For the Grunt who has to hump his butt off - light is right!!! The S5 would be a good choice!

Congratulations on graduation. I also dig the look of the TB. But havent pulled the trigger, waiting for a SHSJ at a more reasonable price. Yeah right huh?

I'm dying to use mine, but I'm waiting to see if my proxy can score me a bama clay sjtac from the trunk show before I bang this one up. The sandstorm would be sold off right quick if I get my grubby hands on that southern style hotness.
