Trying to develop some knot-fu...

Does anyone have a compilation of good sites that provide good visual "how to" instructions for various lanyard knot styles? I have been playing around with some paracord, but I find myself getting all tangled up (literally) trying to follow the instructions at the sites that win the Google search war.

I want to make some decent lanyards for the Scrapper 5, Regulator and Dogfather, but without good instructions, I am lost. Tried cobra, sailor etc. and they all end up looking like garbage.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Stormdrane's site is very good. I learned to do a few patterns there myself.

Do you guys know if I can buy those reflective lanyards from Bussekin anymore. The only ones I have bought came from them at Knob creek and I think they are just sweet. I could braid my own, but I don't want to buy more cord than I need and wast my money.

stormdrane's site is pretty cool!

Thanks everyone for the tips. I just made my first king cobra lanyard! Came out pretty decent. Burned my fingers a little setting the paracord ends <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It was fun to figure it our with the pictures on those sites: kind of therapeutic.

here is a great link to teach you how to tie a square paracord weave.

This post made me think of El Clintor because he makes lanyards...Anyone heard from him or know where he's been...haven't seen him post in a while.

Clint's just been laying low. He might still be down to tie a few if somebody was to pm him about it.

Let's see some pics of those lanyards!
