Hey Dogs,

I need a little advice if you will. I am a member of the test team and have the black blade tan res-c handled Regulator.

I am unable due to time and money constraints perform what I think are the requirements of test team duty. (i said duty)

anyhow, what in the opinion of the Yard should I do? What are the protocols? Is there a newer dog here who would like to participate?

Should I just contact Dan?

I don't think it would be appropriate to put it on the forums for sale so here I am.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Many who bought test team blades are keeping them in safes an won't test them one bit. It's a knife you paid for, don't worry too much about your responsibility.

If you decide you don't like the knife, you can sell it after your sox months are up, but don't give it up just because you aren't using it enough. To fulfill some "duty"

The test team is a neat marketing idea and I hope they implement some changes suggested by test team members, but this is a product you purchased, not a gift.

All IMHO of course.

Just trying to balance the fact that I need to free up Funds to get my Grail Knife SHSJ, and give someone else to fulfill the parameters of the TT idea. I also don't like the Bowie style as much as I thought I would. Granted it is a very comfortable grip but just not my style.

Just thought I would give another dog a chance at the knife and to be on the test team. Cause I am not going to and need the money.

Well you might be stuck until your six months are up - you DID agree not to sell the knife for that long when you joined the test team.

Well that is why I asked for opinions, and I don't believe in jacking people with HUGE markups like some that I have seen. I bought a nice BB sheath for it and would sell it at [censored] near cost. I just don't believe in gouging people.

[color:"red"]DEFINATELY[/color] contact Dan. I wouldn't go breaking the rules of the agreement this late in the game. Besides, I believe the 6 months are up sometime in Feb. 2010.
Perhaps Dan would let you sell it to a member who will agree to the same rules. It couldn't hurt to ask him but I would stick with the program until he said differently.

I agree make sure you contact Dan or Patti before you do anything.
We all signed the agreement when we got the knife
