maybe you could publish the first SY cook book. lots of choices in the recipe thread. best of luck finding something quick.

I'm sorry to hear that. I lost 61% of my staff due to layoffs over a year ago. Good men and women.. I really hate to see anybody lose their job...It happened to me once. It is tough, but it will get better..hang in there.

I understand where you are coming from ThePitsBro52, I'm ready to quit myself. My company is closing our Nebraska office. Exactly 100 people will lose their jobs and I know a lot of them. It is all about efficiency gained and the bottom line. The wake of it leaves 100 people out of work and the people remaining with double the work load.

Good luck with the job search.
I personally just had to dump my largest renovation contract because the company we were working for is being investigated by the FBI & IRS as well as OSHA and the EPA all at the same time. I decided to get out while I could no matter what it did to our finances.
There are other avenuse out there for anyone who is willing to bend a bit and conform to the demands of the economy (more work for less pay).

I truly think that the entire trend is going to be " more work for less pay" . I just returned from Mexico ( south of Mexico City) where there are thousands seeking ANY kind of employment for almost ANY pay . They are right here in the US doing jobs for a fraction of what others used to charge. I think the US is in for a huge lifestyle change . We are used to living in big houses with one family to a house. These folks put 4 or more fmailies in one house and all pool their income. I have never seen so many college grads out of work and left owing on their school. My last two trips out of country really opened my eyes- I can only hope that SOMETHING changes for you young guys and my children and grandchildren. Hang in there guys !!

Amen to that! Losing your job is always bad, but just before the Holidays is especially lousy! Best of luck guys!
