Maybe all of us on here who've lost their jobs should band together and make
our own company.
We can hire ourselves out as "official knife testers"???? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
I'm sure that there is a knife company out there that is short staffed
and needs to have a bunch of really grateful guys on staff who are willing
to do the dirty, thankless job of testing out knives before they get shipped
off to customers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hang in there Pits. I've been out several months myself. Nature of the Beast in hi-tech.Been through it before. Its never easy, but you'll get through it. Just stay positive and make the most of your time as others have said.

A little down-time away from a stressful job isn't all that bad for the mind and soul. More time with family, friends, outdoors, volunteering (highly recommended), etc. will give you a refreshing perspective.

well i did turn down a job to sell insurance. as usually jobs i have no intrest in or qualifications for are the ones that always want to hire me, while jobs i am heavily qualifed for never call.

I keep getting those crappy offers too. Of course, they want you to sell on commission only. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
