Cool deal, Dan. By the way, at Easton, your Scrapper 5 SE was flying off the tables. Easily the most popular knife over the 2 days. Great deal!

Excellent Work training the boy. Good Show.

Congrats on your hunting trip. I am hoping that as my boy ages I remember that he need to always be a priority to me instead of just worrying about providing for him and my family.

Congrats on the good hunt brother. I have been deer hunting with my dad for the past few days.....good times. I will always have the memories that we create with me for life.....special times. I am 33 and love every min of hunting with my dad. I know these days won't be around forever and really appreciate them more every year.
I took a doe on Sunday....used my Scrapper 5LE to gut and skin. Monday morning we cut her up. I used only one knife for all tasks...gutting, skinning and butchering. Not once did I have to sharpen that blade. My dad was there as well as my cousin and they were both impressed. Dad even makes his own custom blades but has not seen a SY product in action. The really cool thing is dad always takes my knives home with him after each day to sharpen. He looked at the Scrapped 5 LE and said that it did not need it and was pretty impressed....that is a huge compliment for my dad. On Tuesday night dad took a doe. He gutted it with on of his knives but I helped skin it and cut off some unwanted fat. Still the Scrapper 5 LE did not need any touch up. WOW what a knife!!

Funny did something similar. My youngest brother and I started our nephew hunting when he turned 18 and said he wanted to try it. We worked hard to get him his first deer but we did it. Now 3 years later his dad (my middle brother) decided to try hunting again. He never liked it as a kid and hadn't tried it in over 15 years. Last week the four of us took 5 days to go hunting and he got his first deer. Now he is talking about next year, this was the first time that we three brothers (not to mention my nephew)have spent this much time alone together. It was something the youngest brother and I have been hoping for, for a very long time.
It was a great time even if i ended up sick
