I wanted to give the S5 a REALLY hard beating tonight. First I battoned it through some EXTREMELY lean pork chops. Next, I smashed/slashed through the eggs I got out of the chicken coop tonight. My chickens get plenty of calcium intake so these egg shells are HARD!!! I once bent a pry bar on a carton of these eggs...Of course, the S5 was still razor sharp and the finish didnt show ANY wear. Who did your Kydex for the S5, and what is that attachment system? Not a tek-tok right?

Tripton is the man with the answers.
David Brown made the sheath and people tell me its a "new" Tek-Lok. I've never had Tek-Lok so I dont know what the old one looks like.

The old Tek-lok is more squared off. The new one is more rounded and probably more comfortable to wear.
I really dislike the old style tek-lok, but haven't tried any of the new ones. I much prefer the clips sold at knifekits.com, or the Spyderco clips.

Definately voided the warrenty.
+1 on the Spyderco Gclip. would like to try the new TekLocks looks like an improvement.
