If I were to take my Mom's lead and technique then I would simply grab that rooster by the head and twirl until said head had detached from the body. If you want to see the chemical reaction between hemoglobin and SR-77, then have at it!

Yeah those really do look nice. How well do they absorb shock? The slabs are pretty nice. They give you a good grip and keep the grip no matter how sweaty your hands get. I really didn't notice much shock with the stock scales so I cant give much of an opinion on how much shock they absorb.

I didnt take any pics, but the BK-9 did a great job of taking the head off.
My S5 came in really handy while processing the rooster. Its nice to wash the S5 off and not have to worry about cleaning the scales. Hooray for Mudders!
