I wanted to post some recent steel that I'm loving! Since the S5 came out here are some of the goodies I picked up.

Everybody luvs the Waki! It's pretty amazing, but really leaves me even more impressed with my Battle Rat. I figured the length and 2 handed grip would outdo the BR- nope! I still am loving it though.

Here is some sweet stuff! The Sage 2 is G-R-E-A-T! Best folder I've ever owned and fits me like a glove. The Bandicoot is just plain nasty! The Izula is quite cool too and will be great to carry in shorts. I just got the Vex last night and am mightily impressed. I was wanting one since the first pictures came out and am real pleased with it. Just fits my hand perfect and seems like a very capable knife and up for many tasks.

Now I just gotta get out and use them! Family and work have been very busy lately and I can count on one hand how many hikes I've been on the last couple months!

So....what have you all scored?????

I had also got this- Bark River Imp but it went in a trade for the Vex. It was a cool little thing (and tough!), but I know my dad is passing me his Bumble Bee in a bit and I like the handle on that a bit more. Besides- the Vex is a Rat...Like me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Nice knives, that would be cool if Scrapyard came out with a small necker like the Izula.

When i get my knives back from the spa it will be like getting new steel. SOD and SS4, it is kind of crazy how much i miss them while they are gone.

Nice scores there RN,like that coot.This past week I scored a BM full size Rukus & a skelly key I'm going to mod with some inlays in the handle.Might do brass or wood or both.I would like to use orange/black G10,but can only find some in canada and the extra shipping doesn't make it worth it IMO. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
