Interesting looking design. If it works for your purposes, then that's what counts. Definitley would like to hear your thoughts after some use.

+1 !! realy looking forward to the field tests by you or your wife! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Mods please feel free to remove this if it is breaking any rules( I don't sell them it is just mine) !

This is my new Survival Tool that I designed and then had a maker bring to life for me.I wish the Yard had bought something similar out but they didn't so I had to go the custom route !!!
I wanted something with chopping potential that I could still choke up on as use as a knife for regular cutting tasks, thus made outta 3/16".

This was my original drawing:

And this is it finished, I don't have it yet, these are the makers pics:

What d'ya think ?

I would like to give it a shot...I can see some use....skinning game as an example...not an edc...but certainly a skinning tool...

I like it!!

Looks like a nice little chopper.

Probably would be a great skinner too

I've since taken it out and given it a workout, I must say it has even exceeded my expectations !

I'll get a pic of it next to my Chopweiler when I'm next off work !

That thing is cool. Looks like a very useful tool. I might have missed it, but who made this? Looks perfect for getting all of your chopping weight forward and still being able to do fine work.
