I've had a CS Voyager for a few years now and I love it. It's so light that you'll forget you have it with you and the grip isn't bad at all even when it's covered in blood.
The CS AK-47 on the other hand is the fastest opener I've ever owned and sturdy but it weighs a ton compared to all of my other folders. Totally worth it though just for the fact that it opens on the draw. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ordawg,

I got an Emerson cqc-16 from Bush earlier this year. It's a very nice knife!

The ZT 300 is about as bomb proof as I can think of though.

That would be my choice. Don't go with the 350 though. It doesn't seem to
have the same quality fit and finish as a 300.

Yeah, I'd go with a ZT300 or ZT301.

- ZT-0200
- Emerson Super Commander
- Emerson UTCOM CQC-11
- Spyderco Sprint Run large MANIX (if you can find one)
- Sebenza
- Strider

or go custom!

once i am working again, i have a design that a knifemaker is going to make for me. Blade is 1/4", frame slabs are 1/4" (all 1095 steel), pivot is a 1/2" axle, you get the idea....

tank folder

I got the original SOG Tomcatlockback when it came out. It is thick bladed with a strong handle. Has worked great never failed. If the recent models are the same they might be an option.

I carried a small Sebenza for two years, that is longer than any other folder for me. It was nice, just not quite large enough. If I was gonna dump that much jack I'd get an SnG.

Benchmade Rukus model 610 (BIG) and mini Rukus model 615 are also great choices. Both built like tanks and very strong.
