Without someone to guide a newcomer, navigating through BST (Bussekin Standard Time) can be like taking a trip through a wormhole. When you're in the wormhole, commonly used ways to tell time (e.g., "soon", "two weeks", etc.) completely lose their meaning. You never know how long the trip will take and what you're going to find when you arrive on the other side. last time I found a dinosaur.
Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

Hey everyone, Im a noob, I dont have a Scrapyard knife yet but im waiting , waiting, waiting lol. You all seem really cool and I wanted to drop a line , and get info . The only real knife I currently own is a Busse Tank Buster , and I was wondering what I should use to sharpen it? I have a stone and it seemed to work ok, but i want a little bit more of an edge on it, it is pretty dull from splitting wood.I dont expect it to get to razor sharp but if there is a way to do it or a different method , Ill try it. Sorry for the bad punctuation lol Welcome to the Yard Dumpster Dan

welcome. a great and cheap sharpening setup is the mousepad and sandpaper method. there's already a ton of info online (even youtube), but you basically lay the sandpaper on top of the mousepad and pull the knife spine first with the edge trailing. welocme to the yard. new knife should be out in two weeks. Since you took the time to introduce yourself, jayme73, I'll cut you a little slack and let you know that "two weeks" is a catch phrase around here for "your guess is a good as mine". The phrase has an actual history, but I'll let you uncover that for yourself. aww..you're ruining the fun. Without someone to guide a newcomer, navigating through BST (Bussekin Standard Time) can be like taking a trip through a wormhole.
