That is what I do Bruce..........wait . But- I also pick up Rangers- Victronix- Spydies and a bunch of others . Just to feed the addiction. I don't care that much for the higher priced Busse stuff. Looks more like a collectable to me. Just can't see paying the extra bucks as I simply do not see the performance being any better. look at the KZ- then look at the Regulator. I acn get a bunch of Regs for the cost of one KZ and better performance to boot

The BOSS street is a good deal for a Busse knife, probably one of the cheaper Busse Knives I've seen in a long time.

I prefer the High Street, which, while not as pretty or collectible as the BOSS Street, is thin enough to make a good slicer, has a useful choil, and cost $167 at Blade.

Now THAT'S value... a knife actually made for practical use, not aesthetics, that costs under two Benjamins.

That High Street was a steal at blade, especially for a satin blade. I heard the Boss Street was much cheaper at Blade West. What was the price of the Boss Street at Blade West?

I HAD a mud puppy, but sold it. It was too much handle for not very much blade, for the things I use a knife for.

The BOSS Street protos were pretty similar in price to the release version - but they were satin or DC while the release is CG, so the protos were a heck of a value. Still not as much of a steel as the High Street, IMHO.

at Blade . . . aye, there's the rub! Add the cost of attending Blade and the price of the High Street goes over $200 really quick!!!

Cost me about five bucks, and 15 minutes on the highway, and I proxy'ed for pretty much any established Dog who bothered to ask me. Wouldn't have been tough at all for anyone who wanted a high street to get one at that price.

What many folks seem to miss is that Blade isn't just to buy new knives - it's the chance to meet up with old friends. (at least, for MANY of us!) I'm really looking forward to Blade 2010 and meeting up with so many folks who post here on this forum, the Swamp, and Busse Combat. There are a LOT of great folks who attend the show!
