my car's a honda. 99 prelude. you can also take it out of park by inserting the key beside the shifter.

My mother-in-law's car was an older Ford Windstar that could be started without the key. It's a piece of crap, but that had nothing to do with the fact that those involved we irresponsible to let toddlers play in the car by themselves.
When my nephew turned the car on and threw it in reverse my wife's mom was behind it. She was pinned between her car and another for a while before they were able to move it off of her. She broke her arm and a few ribs.
The tot was unharmed.
I had a hard time wanting to let her watch my kids again (my youngest at the time was in the car with his cousin). I was pissed off when I heard about it.

You see this crap all the time here in Oregon <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. I served on school boards and you wouldn't belive the stuff we saw and heard. We actually have third generation welfare folks here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> !! The system looks after these kind of people and there are more every day. I saw a kid playing in a car on a steep driveway ( loaded with kids) and he released the brake. The rig almost ran over one of my kids ( years ago) and I was pissed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />. The parents were in the house probably getting high. If this was the first time you have seen something like this you are [censored] lucky. Sure makes one wonder <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />
