Congrats on the new faster Mistress. Still not as fast as a DFLE or M9LE, but fast.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Congrats! As much as I would love to have a BWM, I went with the Waki instead. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Vic, any chance of a chop off comparing the BWM and the DFLE? I am still undecided on this knife...I rather think I have this area covered...but would be interested to know how those two perform?

Steel Fan, do you have any idea how the Black Jack magnum camp will act as a chopper? On light stuff 1-1 1/2 inches it does ok, but have not tried it out on thicker stuff. Have been using the Beast for that.

Also waiting for the chop off from Vic...

I know this is not in any way a serious comparison but I picked up a DFLE which turned up yesterday. I had some fun this morning playing with the DFLE and a FBMLE.

Even though there is no getting around the extra splitting power that the extra weight the FBMLE gives it didn't take that much more to get the job done with the DFLE. And I don't have a hot spot on the inside of my thumb.

Simply much more usable and comfortable for me.

Yep, the Fusion handles are some of the least comfortable handles I've ever used.

The SY Res-C are some of the MOST comfortable. No competition whatsoever in that department.
