Ok it's been a full 24 hours since Dan posted up his video of the Scrapizashi and has it got folks excited. At roughly this time yesterday morning the Knives Forum Side of the site was at 420K+ posts. Well folks ANOTHER record has bit the dust! The knives Forum side of the site has gone from 420,834 all the way up to 421,004 for an increase of 166 posts. The old records keep falling and the NEW records just keep on a climbing! YEAH!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Ok, the ZDC2EB page count has gone from yesterdays low of 184 to Todays high of 187. I figure it will only increase, especially after tonights Sip and Talk!

The TOTAL Forum post count has now gone from 441,085 up to 441,263 for an increase of 178 posts. Not quite 200 posts in the last 24 hours, but again I think that tonights Sip and Talk will make up for it.

WHAT A DAY! MAN, the numbers sure were racked up over the last 24 hours. So without futher suspense, lets get to the numbers!

Ok, first off the DC page count is now up to 193, up from 187 yesterday for an increase of 6 pages. This may not sound like a lot, but it, of course, does not tell the whole story.

The Knives forum side of the house has gone from 421,004 all the way up to, don't faint now, 421,795 posts! That gives us an increase of 791 posts! WOW!!!

Ok, the big winner of the day was of course (I am sure to no one's surprise) the Sip & Talk. Dan opened the festivities and 32 pages later the last poster retired (or passed out) for the night. Man it got kind of funny at times. Picture....well on second thought DON'T picture guys in thongs, towels, PJ's with the footies on them and...well you get the point. Good thing this forum does not support a webcam!

Ok, the TOTAL FORUM POST COUNT was at 441,263 just 24 hours earlier. Well my friends, it is now at 442,064 posts of anything about everything and a LOT of things we don't want to know (OR SEE)! So that brings us a post increase of 801 posts! I think that this will go down as one of if not the best post count day we have ever had.

Using these numbers, we've now only got 57,936 more posts to go for our ONE HALF MILLION POSTS! Great huh?.

Ok, in todays posting we have seen the first, number 1 very first INFI blade made, and Dan has it! The Battle Mistress. WE also learned that Dan was ORIGINALLY gonna name his knife company Daniel Wayne Knives. AND is appears that the first post ever made on the site was on September the 8th 2006. It seems like nobody can come up with the very first post ever made on the site. Oh well, History is not all inclusive, just as accurate as we (or the victors) can make it (to make their side look good).

I hope I have not left out anything really important in this mornings update. If you can come up with anything you think needs to be added to todays update so we will have it here as a historical record of the Yard, just shoot me a Pm or post it up yourself!

Well it's been another three days and we've got some more numbers for your viewing pleasure so lets get on with the fun:

The overall knives forum side of the house is now setting at 422,276 posts, up from 421,795 posts Sunday morning. That gives us an increast post count there of 481! Doing pretty good folks, doing pretty good.

The ZDC2EB page count has gone from 193 pages up to 209 today for an increase of another 16 pages! Hey we're working now!

And the TOTAL forum post count has gone from 442,064 posts all the way up to 442,585 for an increase of 521 posts! We're cooking now!

SO, using these as our ending point, we now have57,415 posts left to go for our Half a Million Milepost. So, using a remaining day count until the end of the year of 93 days (counting the remainder of today) we only have to post up an average of 617.365... posts per day and we WILL have our Half A Mil by the end of the year. Hey, it IS possible you know. Hehe, we get another 2 or 3 folks on here that got motormouths like I do and we could probably get it done by the end of October!

Ok, now that we got the MINOR stuff out of the way, lets get with the really impotent thangs.

Todays Knives forum side of the house has now gone into the Rare Air limits with a post count of 422,717 which is up from 422,276 for a whopping increase of 441 posts! ANOTHER day of post counts in the 400's. Looks like we are continuing on our roll. Guess You Dogs DO want Dan to come out with something to commerated the historic 500,000 posts that are rapidly approaching!

The Death Chat PAGE count has now gone up to 227 pages, up from 209 yesterday which gives us another 18 PAGES! Man, with numbers like this we'll hit our half a Mil count in no time!

Ok, the TOTAL forum count now temporarily stands at 443,042 (yup, we broke into the 443K area) up form 442,585 yesterday of a total post count increase of 457 posts!

So once again, using these numbers that leaves us with 56,958 posts to get by the end of the year. And allowing how we've got 92 days left in this year we only have to average 619.108 posts per day. OOh, that's up a 2 post average per day over yesterday, better get posting!

I was just thinking and did some checking. IF we made 1 post per minute that would equal 60 posts per hour. If we did that every hour for 92 days we would have 132,480 posts in by the end of the year. SO, using that criteria we could have our half a million posts in about 40 days or so!
