For some reason, I can see you chopping up a door if the weather prevents you from getting the DF out for a walk for a couple of days...

My wife would be so pissed...

You, on the other hand, have a history of chopping doors already!

Great pix man. I wish I had places like that close to my house. But I just have to turn my back yard into my private out door play ground.

Thanks guys.

Andy - you'll love it! I'm glad I've got a CG so that I get that nice worn look. I'm thinking about getting another CG instead of an LE actually... Another 100 trips and my DF will look like your RM.

DN - it took me a while to find good places to chop, none of them are closer than 30 minutes drive each way, so its still a pain in the butt. You'd better get a whole lot of saplings and have a lot of patience if you're just going to rely on your back yard!! Maybe you should just take the pickup out and gather up a bunch of downed trunks and just stockpile them in the backyard for chopping. Your neighbors will think you're nuts!!

I take the family out on a lot of day hikes and camping trips so it will get well used. Plus there's always the neighbor's retaining wall that is leaning dangerously to one side. To pry or to baton? That is the question.

I'd just baton a door through the thing, and tell him that it was in your AO.

Day hikes are my newest excuse to chop. And Picnics. "Honey, you wanna go for a picnic?" "So you can chop down trees with your knives?" "No honey, the food tastes better out there..."

I almost forgot - I was sort of bummed that I didn't have any animal sponsors for this thread like I did the past couple days. Sure enough, right after I posted this thread, I was driving down the street, and...:
