You've nothing to be sorry about, I'm not rich, but am well enough off that I have a fairly big pile of INFI (my current Bussekin knife counts are BC: 75, SR: 30, and SY: 110). I'm a collector as opposed to a user.
If you have fairly large hands, you'll love the BWM -- take a look at some of the posting from people who have them. As far as choppers go, some other knives (such as the Dog Father) fit my hand a little better, but the BWM isn't bad, and it would be nearly perfect if my hands were just a tad bigger. It's a lot of knife for the money.
If you live close enough to attend a show where the Busse crew sets up, I'd suggest holding off until you can pick up and hold different knives at the show (I'm partial to the FSH, and $450 would nearly cover a NMFBM [CG, at retail]). However, if you can't attend a show, then the BWM would be a great purchase.
