I'm in the gathering stages of all the ingredients for a wicked stew! From very fresh herbs and spices, sea salt, fresh veggies, and thanks to CoyoteBC's very generous gift of two big slabs of BC MOOSE, I will be making a sloooooooow simmered stew this weekend. (in a cast iron stewpot of course)

Just to make this stew extra special, I will be prepping the meat and veggies with gifted knives from Scrapyards DOTD (Scrapper6 + Custom FALLKNIFEN A1), Bladeforums J Williams (a Idaho Knife Works HUNTERS COMPANION), and my 102 year old cast iron stew pot from me Mom.

Get ready CoyoteBC, i will be dropping by with some stew for you early next week!

done? HA! this is a slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow simmered moose stew, the long simmering time lets the broth get thicker and thicker, and the flavours of everything to meld into the barley.

Heck, just sauteing the onions, garlic, herbs and moose meat in Guinness Beer will take almost 5 hours.
