yeah, me too, but I hate to get rid of the logo.
that's exactly what's stopping me, i'd hate to lose half the logo. i like the thickness of the blade, but it isn't cutting as good as it should be. even with the thinner convex edge, the angle of the bevel from the saber grind makes it act thicker then it is. I didn't feel like fully stripping it and convexing, just a higher saber grind with some coating on it, like this DMCG Ban did.

I haven't posted pictures yet, but I fully satin and convexed my Waki and SOD. I did that same grind on that DMCG on my SOD, but just decided to fully convex it. I was very happy with how straight I got the saber grind though, so the S5 blade should be simple in comparison to the SOD.
