I've been lucky enough to go to a few shows and get to "hold" a lotta these blades. I totally luv'd the RMD and HRLMs! the feel in my hand, the quality and balance. I personally like the HRLMs a little better only because it was smaller and I have several RMD size blades, but that's just me. Both are so sweet just one is a little bigger than the other, I'm glad they are doing this. Lords and Ladies of the European Middle Ages made a complicated game of hunting. One branch of that game involves Terms of Venery. These are specific names for collection of animals. We still talk about a pride of lions and a pack of wolves. These are hangovers from those mostly archaic lists. They talked about a clash of bucks, a rascal of boys, a mute of hounds, and a rage of maidens (go figure). A group of our naked tailed friends was a mischief of rats.
This the prevalence of “mischief” in naming Swamp Rat blades.

Not a reference to the tropes - that was just the source for the picture I wanted. The picture is the cheezy "the more you know" graphic from the educational commercials that used to air during "after school specials" back when I was in school. I could have replaced it with a picture from the GI Joe cartoon and the caption "now you know - and knowing is half the battle", and the joke would have had the same effect.
