How will the S5 fit in a S6 sheath? Sloppy, or just extra room on the pointy end? Will it matter?

It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

Lose and rattles (sloppy) but it does have a velcro securing strap that keeps it in.

Also their is a plastic insert inside and you could remove it and customize it or get one of the sheath makers to make you one.

The plastic insert could be "carefully" heated and shaped for a better fit. The overall sheath would be a little big and cumbersome compared to the knife though, but it would work.
