I also don't recall seeing any SoDs that weren't black, tan, or LEs.

Not to hijack thread but a question. I have a tanker DM. Is it the same then as a Urban Mutt <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ? I was told that an Urban Mutt is what it actually is- but I think I bought it just as a tanker DM ? Lil help-Thanks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Tanker and Urban are different. I'm not sure what the exact specs are but the blade on the tanker is thinner and about 1/4 inch longer than the urban mutt. The tanker also has a swedge. The urban mutt has a smooth crinkle coat and the tanker's finish is a bit more rough to the touch. The tanker grey is quite a bit darker than sage, like charcoal grey. Also, the tanker I have has the scrapyard logo and the urban does not. Hope this helps. I would like to see a tanker grey SOD.

I really dig the tanker grey, I have yet to get a Dogfather. If the Tanker Dogfather is the same as the Tanker Mutt (full flat grind and a bit thinner than the combat grade) then I would be more than willing to pay the extra money for one. What are your thoughts on yours?
