It's a bit large for an EDC, and a bit small for a chopper, but it's balance is great and it feels perfect in my hand. It's the general, all-purpose Scrap Yard knife. As long as you don't throw it in a fire and burn up the handle, it'll stand up to whatever you need it to do.

Graet knife but I like the LE better . Then again- I like all the LEs better

I love my S6, great knife and just about the perfect all round knife.

One of my best all-around blades. Great balance, great feel in my hand, and I've chopped some pretty thick stuff with it,
good batoning abilities too, works great.

I highly recommend it!

The nice thing about the CGs is that, with the possible exception of the DFLE and then only in certain tasks, the LEs won't outperform them. CGs also cost quite a bit less than LEs. To me, CG's more properly befit the Scrap Yard motto, "superior performance to price ratio". YMMV.

Agreed- but I do one heck of a bunch of outdoor activites and the LE just feels better in my hand. I skin and gut many elk and deer every year and how a knife " feels" is VERY important to me. Maybe this could be related to PERFORMANCE- maybe not.The extra $$$ for LE is well worth it to me .If guys are not pounding on their steel it probably doesn't matter much- but I beat the hell out of mine many days out of the year. That is why I enjoy metals and models that flat out perform . Thanks
