Just like anything else on ebay, you can find Bussekin knives on there. However, its my experience that you end up paying more on Ebay than you would on bladeforums. The one advantage, might be the fact the the knife purchase can be supported by the paypal purchase protection...

It can be expensive but every now and then you can find a decent deal there. Blade Forum is a good place to find Scrap Yard knives also. It is best to get them from the factory new but like many of us...there are going to be knives that you really want that just aren't available any more and that will require you to pay a little more and get them from somewhere like Blade Forum or E-Bay. I have purchased from both without any issues. There should be a new release from Scrap Yard here real soon, so keep on eye on this forum or the Scrap Yard store front.

Good luck and welcome!

Thanks I appreciate your info and opinions. I had found a couple on ebay and yes some seem extremely pricey and others not so much. Any recommendations for my first SY?

I bought my first Scrap Yard from the Bay~ a Scrapper 6 . No doubt I paid too much for it but was totally "As New"
Next was a Camp Tramp off Blade Forums and I got her for a very decent price!
My Advice is.... if you afford it & you need your chosen knife right now then buy it from either Ebay or BF ...otherwise just keep watching here for news on the next release! I know I'm up for a Regulator or two!

If you can't wait for the next release there is always Andy's excellent site.

Ya never know where a deal might pop up. Ebay- Andy's -Blade or just about anywhere. When the Swamp hits the GO-GO-GO for the goodies coming up in the store- grab em while you can . They will probably last about 2 minutes !! I am betting Dan has got something coming soon . The big thing is to have fun- share and meet some great folks . Dan has the best forum on the web here-Luck

I've seen some pretty high prices on ebay.

I'd wait for those rats to be released soon and hopefully the new scrapyard knife.
