The more I think about it GIDRC would be cool.

If you check that site, they have pics people sent them how they modified knives and multitools with it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

have to pass on this one, but i'm still curious about the changes. solid guard, by chance?

I wasn't part of the test team (financial reasons), but that would make a lot of sense - a brass or steel guard the same size and shape as the Res-C guard would protect the hilt of the res handle from getting munched up, and you wouldn't ever really ever notice it if it just capped the hilt off...

Andy -- dang, dude! Where do you find all this stuff! From chocolate Glocks to glow-in-the-dark res-c addative, you are truly an encyclopedic warehouse of facts, from the practical to the absurd! I'd like to follow you around for a day just to see what you do, exactly. I'm guessing you are some kind of high-speed operative working in the information support/ laboratory like Abby on NCIS (although, no offence, not nearly as attractive)... Am i close? Or are you Cliff Stamp using a false identity?

Yes but people haven't tested the other releases first. And helped improve the design.

Besides the glow-in-the-dark handle I would want the blade done in that "Hot Wheels" toy car paint that changes colors when you dip it in hot or cold water.

Yeah! --or-- Flames on the sides of the blade that appear when it gets cold, like those mittens from the '80s!
