SR-101 is beautiful stuff, harder to work with then other steels, but can get sharper then anything else I've ever seen, I have to keep telling myself to be careful when handling it. I have a tan SOD that's almost done, got rid of the saber grind in favor of a full height convex grind, it's looking good and should be ready in... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/2weeks.gif" alt="" />

I don't know exactly, I did it slowly over about a 2 month period. About 10 hours or so.



No knife I have put the same work into has gotten this sharp, one tiny slip and your finger tip is gone, haha.

That is just flat out beautiful!!

I have an easier time getting my Rats sharp too. SR101 takes a nasty edge.
