An AK-47 seems like the next best thing to a light saber <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually, the Bark River Northwinds chop and cut better for me at least.

I didn't even know Bark River made swords. That Northwind is very, very nice.

It looks like it is made from the Camillus 0170 steel...hmmm.

Don't let Dice see the one with the blue handle <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Perhaps it is an early prototype of the DM? Blade looks similar...

No, it has a clip point. Kinda hard to see in the photo.

I would love a metric Scrapper. I don't know why you yanks don't like the metric system as everything divisible by 10 is so much better. I am convinced that the sole reason for the existance of the .40cal auto round is because americans would not except the .9mm because of the metric designation.

I was telling Tony that I have a drinking acquaintance (not really a close friend) that knows a guy who is an industrial chemical salesman that calls on Scrapyard. The acquaintance (who has a small collection of Spyderco knives) said this guy knows Dan and has actually seen some of the new knives. Naturally I called bull***t and said "right". So my acquaintance calls up the sales guy on his cell and asks him to send me some pictures. I just got home and I'll be gosh-darned if he didn't send me a picture. The quality isn't very good (camera in his cell phone I think) but it clearly shows a knife prototype called the M16. The thing looks just like an S6 only it appears to have a sharpened swedge (penetrator point). Check it out:

[Linked Image from img1.putfile.com]

You guys think this might be legit? The next release of a S6-like blade with a penetrator tip/sharpened swedge. I circled the 16 on the ruler thinking this might mean 16cm, perhaps just a measurement or perhaps signifying some Euro military unit. I'm not very versed on the military side of things. Perhaps here's an outside chance this will be the knife that replaces the S6 next time up.

I think the penetrator tip would be pretty hot. I'll take it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Sweeeeeeeeeeet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

JYD#14 Do you need one, of course you do it's a knife and you like knives.....

Naw, the .40 S&W was the direct result of the girls at the FBI not being able to handle the 10MM.
