Took an old sheath that I made for a Scrapper 5, trimmed it down & cord wrapped it. I had extra cord so I wrapped a sheath made by Steel Nut for the NMSFNO. All the other sheaths shown were made by me.
One cool thing about the sheath is the jimped S-5 or an untouched S-5 will fit in there and stay.
Hope ya'll like them.....comment all you want to!

Man, that's a really slim S5 sheath. Very nice work. Is it glued together?

Also, you can just go ahead and send that Nuc EDC over here any time you want <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I'm going to try bending kydex soon,I'v got a few nekked blades.
Do you heat it in the oven?

It was a regular sheath. Like the S-5 infi i made. The rivots looked like crap
how i postioned them so i went a trimming. Tried acrylic glue, didnt work
super glue worked. Have brown electrical under the wrap. DO NOT PUT a knife
inside sheath before glue holds.. HA HA!!
The shiny stuff on the blades is vaseline that i coat all my blades with.
Not only coats the sheath but it brings out the color of the micarta.

Myke.
The knife is a nuclear edc. Are you wanting to try the Kydex at home/ work ?
The temperature wont be a problem even with a standard oven. Having a good
way to press the the kydex down around the blade can be a problem.

TM,I'll be doing it at home in the oven.I've read up on sheath making on BF.Lot of good info there.I've got some 3/4" foam that withstands the heat and 2x8s for the press.I like the clam shell style like steelnuts.I saw someones with shallow cut outs in the sides for wrapping cord, looked like a good idea.
So super glue works on kdex huh.I was wondering about a way to attach dif. colors/designs like some of David Browns.
