Kukris are cool and all, but some of the HI stuff is more than a little rough.
The dullest knife I have EVER bought was a Bonecutter from HI. It's also way, way thicker than it needs to be. It's kind of absurd, actually.

Notice how the Bonecutter is MUCH fatter than the 1/3 of an inch thick Regulator, and also way thicker than the Killa Zilla. Those of you who remember my Zilla review probably recall that one of my complaints was that it was thicker than it needed to be. Well, the Bonecutter dwarfs the zilla in the thickness category <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
I haven't handled many HI kuks, so I'm sure some of them come with better edges and better geometries, and honestly for how inexpensive they are, HI kuks make good project knives to modify as you see fit. They are definitely in a VERY different class from the Busse family blades, though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
