Hind sight, It's always better. Maybe because we aren't looking from as tall an observation point!

Thanks for the congrats guys, and the welcome greetings. My struggle now is wether to use the muk or not when it gets here. I just got into these Busse and kin knives. I received my boss street last week and an hg55. Don't know which ones to put in the safe and which to put in the pack. Bushwhacker is on the way too. Wish that the yard here opens for biz soon as I would like to get some cheaper steel that I don't mind scratching up a bit.

Well, some people are safe queen guys while there are others that use their steel and there is the group that abuse their steel. I remember when I was like you wondering but I figured I would move the new ones that I had not used so I take away that problem! Go use it! You will be amazed at how well the MUK does tasks at hand. Not sure on the BW, but I have one on its way to me now and I will make that decision and the Boss Street I want an anorexic model. The HG55 feels great to me, I am slowly working one over since I picked it up on the used market, so we have similar tastes.

I'm not really a safe queen guy by any means, but I do have more knives than I could use. I figure some fairly good knives could be an asset in a shtf scenario as far as barter or whatever. I'm not a dealer so I don't look to make a quick turnover on whatever seems to be hot at the time. I would like to think that I could get my money back or a little better on some or most of what I have collected. Had a little bit of tax refund so I figured I would treat myself to a few Quality blades. Right now I'm putting together a bail out bag and I was looking for a good belt knife and a chopper. that's why I ordered the BW. I really like that hg55 also but it also has an edge that needs some, (lots of) work. I built a kydex sheath for it already. When the Muk gets here I will make a sheath for it also and have a shootout with em. That new regulater also looks like it could be a contender.

Yeah, the HG55 is getting a re-profile on mine---slow since I am doing it by hand when time allows. Busse knives are great and you can generally get your money or close to it back. I can't wait to see what the new Busse plan does for making knives more available to the masses.

post MUK pics when you get it!
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.
