I commented the other day that I felt, without using a scale, that my TT Reg was not only lighter but balanced differently than the SOD.
Yes, you did. Based on the difference in specs, comparing the TT Regulator to a Military Regulator could be roughly the equivalent of comparing a DFLE to a DFCG. Even though they share a similar design, the TT Reg and the Military Reg may be very different knives with very different handling characteristics.

I'm anxious to hear what Test Team members have to say once they get their Military Regs in hand and are able to compare them against their TT Regs.

I heard that, Bruce! I even mentioned last week when we first heard from Dan about the production Reg, the first thing that came to mind was the Dogfather!!

I'm anxious to hear from the active duty military guys after they've had some in the field use of their Regulators.

i was thinking the same thing when dan first mentioned military orders.

...i wonder if any of them would be able to do so, or if they even have knowledge about the forum

This looks like quite a deal for those seeking a tough combat knife. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Can I tell you guys how happy I am that I'm NOT one of the group that's going to be reading down the road "Hey guys remember when they offered a regulator and sheath to emergency personnel for 99 bucks?"

Can't beat this deal <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />!! I'll take the two I get from being on orignal TT- plus I will take a few more at that price <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> !! This was worth the wait <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. No way am I getting rid of my original TT models- they are awesome IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Have I said before how much I love the Regulator? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
