While I'm more than capable of making a blade, there's one thing I cannot do.... Some people love the wood handles, and others will only touch micarta, I think the Res-c is gorgous.! Just something about that rubber handle that says..."this is a knife" on the majority of siZe of blade polls, a 4" always rises to the top.

The scrap muk is really really a wonderful blade and I love it!
Now here's my perfect knife and I hope that others could also appreciate it enough to actually make it happen,

a little bit roomier dumpster mutt style handle, 3/16th 154 steel, sporting a 4" drop point Full flat ground blade. Thumb jimps and round choil

cmon people make my ultimate blade come true and get Dan enough money to take his family on vacation for a few weeks from it...

Sounds like a knife that I would venture a few of.

Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust

I would definitely take at least two of these.

Ah, the old three-sided large-choil vs small-choil vs no-choil debate... I don't really have a strong preference on that, although I know that many do.

There are lots of different sized hands, but I also prefer the larger (S6 and above) straight Res-C grip. However, if you look back at pre-BDLE posts, almost everyone was clamoring for more mudders.

As far as the steel debate goes, I think Dan made a good choice when he went with 154CM for the Scrap Muk. I won't boycott satin carbon steel, but my preference is for non-stain-resistant blades to be coated.

Yep, sounds good to me too! (I'd take it in sr77 also- sage and black res-C of course!).
