DFLE,SPTPR. This is the Yard after all. I used to want a CGFBM,then along came the BWM, and I couldn't pass on it. Still want a DFLE,and DFCG.The DFLE is reported to be the better chopper all around with the res-c handles for comfort.

I like the CGFMB more than my DFCG. I don't have a DFLE, but I like my blades lean so I think best bet is to grab a BWM while they are still available, unless you want to pay almost as much for the DFLE in the secondary market. No contest for me. I like my CGFBM, but I like my BWM a lot better.
BWM because its still available at factory prices, and my favorite anyway.

It's a tough choice and my first answer would have to be "BOTH"!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
But if I had the choose just one... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> it would have to be the DFLE, It's been among my very favorite blades ever since the very first day I laid my hands on it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
The DFLE feels very comfortable and balanced in my hand, and with the Res-c it's comfortable to chop with too. I don't feel like I'm warring a huge chunk of steel when I carry it either. The DFCG is great too, I just prefer the DFLE due to it satin finish and full flat grind.
I'm glad I have both though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" />

Well, I still want a DFLE. Got a DFCG and think that if nothing else it might get stripped this summer and polished up. I had a CGFBM and really liked it but got rid of it once I traded into a BWM--just feels like cutting air. I can't wait to get out on spring break and chop some stuff up with it. Like Horn Dog mentioned in other posts, the BWM is a good slasher and chopper--I guess more of an all around one for guys that are in a varied environment.

I'm with Jeff. The thought of selling my DFLE never crossed my mind, but I've been considering parting the the CGFBM. I don't want to, but money's tight and I know people want it.
However, when I think of my knives, I think of the CGFBM.

The DFLE is up there with the Basic 9 and the BWM LE for me ... the three "lighter" mistress sized knives that I like the best ... I had the chance to buy a CGFBM at knob creek and went for a FBM Satin Flat Grind LE shaped blade ... and a Desert DF Flat Grind LE shaped blade ... the feel and balance on these were superior to me ... few and far between infact are the Busse's I would rank in front of a DFLE ... it is one of the best blades out there ...regardless of SR77 not being Infi ... if it were Infi I would rank it as high as a ASM Grind SHBM with slotted bolts ... my favourite mistress of all ... it is certainly up with the BWM LE ... a much more expensive knife ... and IMO higher than the BWM CG for "balance and feel" ... use wise I need some time before I will know ...
The DFCG's I had felt a bit too blade heavy for me ... just a personal thing ...I would take a FBMCG over a DFCG ... they balance better IMO ...
One further thing ... I paid $300 for my DFLE on the exchange years ago now ... best $300 I ever spent ... it is the quality of the knife that counts ... not the mark up IMO ... at the price I paid I got a great knife for the money ... you will pay a lot more to better it ...
