in the intrest of saving money , and keeping the forum a little cleaner. i perpose a deal thread. First a few rules.
1.Try to keep extra chatter to a minimum. dont post unless you have a deal/or to confirm the deal is good. if more discussion is needed make a new thread. 2.Try to keep it close outs and short term deals. 3.try to keep spam to a minimum 4.A link and a short discription , discount code, and any other details on the deal would be nice.
so what you dogs think?

As always its up to the mods. just thought it would be a nice thread to use.
If treated as intended i was hoping that it would not be in any of those classifications.

Deal Extreme has many high power LED flashlights, fenix is one brand. They are direct from Hong Kong but offer free shipping. I heard about them on the candle power forum. They also have much much more, I'm sure much is junk. I ordered a few fire steels, and some lights on my first order and they work great. Sorry I don't know how to do the links yet. They also have big selection of rechargeable batteries and chargers. http://www.dealextreme.com/

I think you may run into a problem with Rule #4. But I'll let the Mods make that decision. 4. No for sale/wanted to buy/looking for ads, give aways or raffles. 5. When in doubt, play it safe! 6. No discussing other manufacturer's products. Comparisons and chopoff are great though! Busse Combat and Swamp Rat discussions are also fine. Please confine the none Rat Trap folder discussion to the folder thread located HERE.
We dicuss firearms and other gear over on the outdoor forum all the time. But let's not let this degenerate into a for sale thread. And absolutely no knife deal spotting unless it is from one of the Busse companies. At least that's the way I see it for now. It is on the edge for sure. See rule #5.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Since it hasn't been taken down or locked up, I guess I can assume that Deals on outdoor things other than knives here on the outdoor forum, and not items we or anyone we know are selling are ok. I thought it was kind of cool to have a thread on deals, and discount suppliers for some of the outdoor gear we use other than knives. I wouldn't want to feel like I was testing the limits though.
