The only thing i might do myself is strip the spine. make it ss4'ish.
Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

for those of us without belt grinders, what would be the easiest way to strip just the spine?

hmmm. have yet to try modding a knife, but might be tempted. I was actually trying to imagine what it would look like with a stripped spine, and then have buy brown make me up an exposed spine sheath out of that mud flap kydex.

What about having a completely new custom exotic gaboon ebony handle made for the knife? Has anyone ever tried putting custom handles on?

I was thinking the same thing when I chose to get the Regulator, if anyone does mod it, I'd love to see pics in due time. But in my opinion the Regulator looks way too good as is
