I don't have any doors to sacrifice, nor car hoods or doors. But I have some really hard, weathered juniper stumps in the yard. There was one particularly ugly one that I have wanted to trim. And when I picked up the Dumpter Mutt it said "I may be short but I can chop too". Here's the result:

The branch is 5" or 6" across by about 4" wide, kind of oblong. The juniper heartwood is hard..you have to hack at it.

That is impressive, Karnack! We have swamp junipers here. That is some very hard wood. What other 5" knife could possibly do that?

Thanks J, it just took time, 45 minutes or so. I chop with a fairly loose grip so if the tool is good the chopping just happens.
