It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

If nobody else volunteers for you, we can talk. I have two general rules when I proxy:

1) I don't proxy for something that I want, and that will be in low quantities, so that I'd be proxying against my own best interests.

2) I don't buy things that I'd be mad getting stuck with. I don't have any bad experiences to discuss from the yard, but in other contexts have been asked to keep an eye out for something, then after I bought it, told that they don't want it anymore. I felt bad for not stepping up for someone who wanted a Dumpster Mutt last Knob Creek, but if you count different colors and variants, such as the MOD, I already own about 30 Mutts, so didn't want to risk proxying for another one.

Knob Creek isn't until the evening of 4/8, so there's still plenty of time.

Yep, I proxied for someone at Blade West and this is how it went down. Garth was way cool about it and i just handed my cell phone over to him and he took the CC number down of the guy I proxied for. It was pretty simple.

Will Busse offer Scrapyard Knives at Knob Creek? I have been trying to get a specific Scrapyard model. I won't be attending Knob Creek.
If there is anyone going that can help me out please PM me.

Re: Contacting the office about credit card. How do I go about this and who do I speak to?

There may be some SYKCO models there, but not all the past models will be available. Usually it's the more recent ones.

So if you're looking for an S6 or Yard Hook you might be out of luck.

Best to wait until we get a bit closer, they may give us a peak as to what'll be offered.

Jerry usually posts a "Wall 'O Knives" picture a day or two before Knob Creek.

Sometimes, there are packed-up boxes in the picture as well, so there may be some surprises, and the resolution and angles may make it difficult to accurately identify models that are close in design to others. For instance, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a full-height Dog Father and a saber ground one (I've only seen a few full-height DFs at one show, the tan ones from Fall 2008) and you couldn't tell how thick a knife was (heavy/fat, standard, or skinny/anorexic), but it'll give you a pretty good feel of what they're sending.
