My Reg and DeReg arrived earlier today. I'm really impressed with these knives and am thinking about ordering another Regulator... Agreed! My order has not hit this side of the Ocean but I knew I would need a pair of Reg's At least I saved a second postage hit ; ) JB

Just because you're right doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Mine wasn't too sharp either. Couple minutes on a fine diamond pad changed that. First time playing with sr101. Seemed to really take an insanely sharp edge, reminded me a little of my D2 knife. Seemed to take a little longer to sharpen than some other steels I have, but seems to hold a scary sharp edge for a long time.

I wasn't too excited about the Reg at first but it was a good deal so I ordered. Man am I ever glad I got two, I really love this knife. I'm also glad I added a second sheath to my order, really nice sheath for the money, can't beat it!!
Home run on the Regulator, Dan!
I'm also glad I didn't go for the de-Reg, I really like that top part of the guard.
