I have had a couple of emails asking about the knife that is up on Ebay. The knives that were numbered were supposed to be the ones that got the Military/Test Team discount. We had a few that got numbered even know they did not get the discount, done by error, and the knife on EBay is one of those knives. I know people were wondering if this person had broken the agreement by selling his knife before his year was up, but that is not the case. He did not get the discount, so he does not fall in that category. Sorry for any confusion!

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.

I like the "speed holes".

They make the knife go faster.

Dan, why don't your knives have speed holes?

Got a question for you guys.....

If one wanted to sell a couple of SY knives, but did NOT want to put it on ebay, where would he go to sell it?

Me personally, I'd like it to go to someone who wanted one back when they were available, but couldn't get it then for some reason.

I don't want to auction anything or make a profit (those people annoy the heck out of me) - I just want to sell it at the original price to someone that will USE it.

Any recommendations?

The BladeForums Exchange is probably the most popular, but there are lots of gun/knife forums you could use. Additionally, there's a yahoo user's group:
bussekinexchange · Busse / Swamp Rat / Scrap Yard Exchange (See the "Where can I get old models of knives" section in ColdOne's READ THIS! Rules & SY Info sticky thread).

Finally, I noticed this link:
Busse Kin Exchange in Andy Wayne's signature line page of links.

Why buy one on ebay if you can still get it in the store? I think if you know about scrap yard knives you know to check the site.

Also anyone that is designing a knife for the contest now needs to put "speed holes" in their design, it is too state of the art to ignore

A surprising number of people just bid on items without researching them or comparison shopping.
