Got a question for you guys.....

If one wanted to sell a couple of SY knives, but did NOT want to put it on ebay, where would he go to sell it?

Me personally, I'd like it to go to someone who wanted one back when they were available, but couldn't get it then for some reason.

I don't want to auction anything or make a profit (those people annoy the heck out of me) - I just want to sell it at the original price to someone that will USE it.

Any recommendations?

Feel free to PM me with what you would like to sell

EDIT: ON TOPIC: It just goes to show the strength of the YARD, the DOGS are ravenously patrolling for violators of the agreement I'm thinking they want to eliminate competition...and that's enough to keep me honest

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

I like the "speed holes".

They make the knife go faster.

Dan, why don't your knives have speed holes?

Yup- speed holes are very cool Joe -I have drilled them in ALL my knives. You should try it

Do you do that with a drill press or can you do it freehand?

I am going to start a speed hole drilling company. Just send your knives to me, and over the course of 6 months and a fee, I will carefully add speed holes that will increase the strength and cutting ablity of your knives.

to my house

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.

I have had a couple of emails asking about the knife that is up on Ebay. The knives that were numbered were supposed to be the ones that got the Military/Test Team discount. We had a few that got numbered even know they did not get the discount, done by error, and the knife on EBay is one of those knives. I know people were wondering if this person had broken the agreement by selling his knife before his year was up, but that is not the case. He did not get the discount, so he does not fall in that category. Sorry for any confusion!

I'm assuming that you are talking about me. Like Renee said I did pay full price for 3 Regulators and they still came numbered.. To all who are concerned as to why I was selling one of "MY" Regulators, my budget didn't allow for one of the later released RMD's along with the 3 Regs. I was able to swing the RMD with the selling of one of my Reg's.

If you guys have anymore questions please contact me and leave that busy body Renee alone so she can get more knifes out.

if you resell on bladeforums at cost there is a good chance it will just get grabbed up by a reseller looking to turn a quick profit. If you want to find somebody that will appreciate the knives, I'd look in the "wanted to buy" section on bladeforums and find somebody looking for that specific blade.

If they are looking for that specific blade they can just go to the Scrapyard store and order it. Just saying....
