I know it's not the coveted LE but I gotta be honest I can't afford the 350+ for a single knife for one of those, so the CG will have to do. Sorry man. I saw it and hopped on it as fast as I could, always wanted one and for 175 shipped with a sheath? Yes please.

Now I can compare it to my other choppers (battle rat and M9 LE) and see which I prefer. I'm guessing it's going to be the dogfather, I have a thing for Res-C in the choppers as I've tried G10 and micarta and prefer the res-c on the bigger knives.

Saw you scored that, I think I saw you also scored a nice little slicer.

The vex? Yep I picked that one up too, gonna give it a shot and see if I like it. If I don't I'll just sell that one off. I'm going through a "test drive" phase with a lot of knives right now....buying them and seeing if I like em. If I do they get put in the "keep this!" pile and if I don't I'll resell them at some point in time, already relisted a few on bladeforums.

I love the swamp rat / scrap yard / busse knives but I'm finding that I don't like every single one of them. I loooove the regulators, love my ratmandus, love my wardens. I wasn't a big fan of the chopweiler. I like my battle rat. The M9LE is alright but I don't like the G10 so I've listed that for sale on BF...I like the HRLM I have alright, probably keep it but I doubt I'll get another (unlike the RMD, of which I ordered two more lol).

Dogfathers rule! basically the best sub 500 dollar chopper there is....not counting felling axes or chainsaws.

I can't wait to see mine. What do you guys think of that price?

That was a great price, I might have jumped on it and I already have a LE, and congrats on the Vex, it is an AWESOME little knife. I love mine.

Congrats on getting an honest chopper that will never fail you. The RES C handle will let you chop all day. The SR77 steel is not going to break. You did fine. I have some more expensive choppers, but none I prefer using to my Dog Father.

I got the vex for a steal. He dropped the price HUGELY from what he had, and suddenly both of em got snatched up in no time at all. I'd been eyeballing it but didn't want to drop initial asking price on it.
